Justin Wong wins national SFIV tourney, Daigo remains world champ

Justin Wong, a New York tournament scene player, won the GameStop Street Fighter IV tournament, thus winning a real Vewlix 2 player Street Fighter IV machine. He also kicked ass at the international tournament, up until the unstoppable Daigo that is. Congratulations Justin! (via Joystiq)

    Technically nobody is really world champion yet right? I mean- from what I understand Iyo is the Japanese national champ right now, and Justin is the US champ (Daigo was flown in for his ‘legendary’ status or something). So that part was more of an exhibition than a national tourny really. Iyo beat Daigo, Justin beat Iyo, and Daigo beat Justin…. so it seems like nothing is really settled in any official way, haha. Gotta wait for Evo!
